As Chief Asset Management Officer, Damian is responsible for looking after Starling’s lending activities. This includes lending to Starling customers and within externally sourced portfolios.
He joined Starling in 2021. Prior to this he led NatWest Market’s UK Financial Institution client business, where he and his team helped bank and non-bank lenders with funding, risk management and capital markets issuance. Damian specialised in helping clients buy, sell and finance portfolios of loans. He is also Interim CEO at Fleet Mortgages, Starling’s specialist buy-to-let mortgage lender.
