Can I ask for my transaction history after my account has closed?

When your account closes

  • We’ll email you your full transaction history free of charge, in the form of bank statements, within 10 working days. Once youve received the email, just click Access your document and you’ll be directed to a new webpage where youll be prompted to enter a password.

  • We’ll also send you a text message with a password so you can access the history. We do this to keep your information safe.

  • The password and the email will only be active for 60 days, so we recommend downloading a copy of your transaction history.

  • In order to receive your transaction history, you’ll need to make sure your email address is verified before your account closes. You can do this in the Settings section of the app.

  • For Personal current accounts only:

If you don’t want to receive your transaction history, or would like to get a smaller date range of your history, you can select this in the app when you close your account.

  • For joint current accounts and business current accounts:

If you don’t want to receive your transaction history, or would like to get a shorter date range of your history, let us know when you get in touch with us to close your account and we can do this for you.

After your account has closed

  • You can contact us and ask for a copy of your transaction history up to 5 years after your account has closed. This service is free of charge. Visit our ‘contact us’ page for more information on how to get in touch with us.

  • Before we can send it to you, we’ll have to confirm your identity and your email address.

  • After the check, we’ll email you your transaction history within 7 working days. We’ll also send you a text message with a password so you can access the history.

  • The password and the email link will only be active for 60 days. So we recommend downloading a copy of your transaction history.
