There’s nothing like turning on the telly in this gloomy autumnal weather. If you’ve been tuning in to UK favourites such as The Great British Bake Off or The Chase, you might well have seen our shiny new TV commercial, which we spent many early mornings filming over the summer.

The advert opens with a starling bird watching as a small business owner sets up for the day. Filmed across The Lake District, Suffolk and London, the advert follows a mesmerising murmuration (flock) of Starlings before returning to the business owner as she cheerfully manages her business with the Starling app. The ad, part of our Feel Good About Money campaign, features Avicii’s cover of “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone.

Starling is about giving people the tools they need to feel confident and in control of their finances. We’re proud to be taking this message nationwide and our aim is to make Starling a household name and free the country from outdated ways of banking. We feel that now is the right time to spread our wings and launch our very first TV commercial.

Our campaign is also backed up by adverts on radio and online, as well as billboards, buses and trains across the UK - so look out for us!
